The hookah is associated to the calm and serenity of the East. The very name, with exotic resonance (from the Turkish word nargile) makes us think of turbans and harem trousers, of wise men with turban and beards and to the Stories from the Thousand and One Nights.

You cannot enjoy a hookah on the run, as you would smoke a cigarette. The very fact that the hookah must be prepared gives it a certain significance, makes it unique. By preparing or waiting for it, you prepare yourself for something special. The hookah teaches you how to relax, how to become more patient and how to share the good things with your friends.

If you have ever smoked a hookah, you probably felt connected to a centuries-old tradition spread in the Arab and Fast East world, from Morocco to India.  If you have travelled to Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Syria or other countries with a tradition in preparing and savouring the hookah, you have certainly seen the famous outdoor coffee stands, where the flavoured smoke blends with the tea perfume or the alluring smell of coffee, and people spend hours on end talking and enjoying the company of those around them.

This is precisely what happened with this room. We prepared it in every detail, we customized it so that everyone that steps at the caravanserai feels special, relaxed and enjoys himself/herself!

Therefore, we invite you to connect to an oriental atmosphere with the perfume and flavour of Turkish coffee, an atmosphere in which the easy chairs gently rock you in the obscure light of Aladdin’s lamps.
